The NBU has published a report whereby Ukraine’s gross external debt shrank 3%, i.e. USD 4.697bn, to USD 137.382bn in Q1’14 compared to the beginning of 2014.

This was mainly due to the decline of short-term liabilities of the real sector under trade loans.
