In the early morning hours, soldiers of the Volyn aerial reconnaissance battalion at the Ukrainian Volunteer Army set off for a coordination task. These vigorous, tireless and determined UAV operators practice the sequence and consistency of their actions to improve effectiveness on the battlefield later in the day. The team must polish their flight and drone control skills. Thinking creatively and analysing all available information are a key to success. Every day, they repeat this routine, being under increased pressure and stress in an extremely hostile environment where not only are you watching the enemy, but the opponent is also constantly hunting for you.
