“Based on information from law enforcement and security authorities, including intelligence information, we know that various events are planned to destabilize the situation, including possible terrorist attacks,” Senchenko said when commenting on information about growing tensions before May 9 and the likely intensification of diversionist activities.
According to Senchenko, Ukrainian authorities are aware of plans to send drug substances in large amounts from Transdnistria and through Russian-Ukrainian borders in Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts to Ukraine.

“More accurately, they are planning to drown our country in drugs,” he stated. “Therefore, I ask all citizens to help our border guards reveal these drugs. You have children, and there are a lot of young people in Ukraine to whom these drugs may be distributed.”
Earlier, Andriy Parubiy, Head of the National Security and Defence Council, announced that Russian diversionists plan provocations in seven regions, including Kyiv, on May 9.
