About 200 LGBT activists have taken part in the March of Equality in Odesa in the morning of August 18.
Participants of the March of Equality gathered in the city centre – on Prymorsky Boulevard and then strolled from the Statue of Graf Vorontsov to Dums’ka Square.
There was an unsuccessful attempt to start a fight during the march when 2 men tried to disrupt the event. The police stopped and arrested them. Also, there were about 800 law enforcement officers who surrounded Prymorsky Boulevard from all sides in order to avoid provocations.
During the walk, representatives of religion and activists opposed the march.
