German ambassador to Ukraine reflects on progress in Normandy Summit negotiations

Anka Feldhuzen believes that Ukraine's activity in the Trilateral Contact Group will help unblock the negotiation process

German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhuzen stated that the issue of conducting the Normandy Summit in Berlin was in the works, but the progress was rather slow. The diplomat told this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"The President (Volodymyr Zelensky - 112 International.) explained it in a proper way: we are all working on this. Progress is rather slow, but it is a long process," Feldhuzen said.

She also noted the higher activity of the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contract Group, which, in her opinion, will help unlock the negotiation process.

As we reported earlier, according to Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Ukraine has an interest in holding the next summit in Normandy Format as soon as possible.

"The war continues on Ukrainian territory, so Ukraine is more interested in holding the next summit in the Normandy format as soon as possible. Our partners, Germany and France, support us in this," he stated during a speech at the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House.
