Finland intends to allocate additional financial assistance for humanitarian demining in war-torn eastern Ukraine, that's according to the country's Foreign Ministry. During a visit to Ukraine, Finland's Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto "confirmed an additional contribution of EUR 600,000 to humanitarian demining," the ministry's press service reported, adding that in many areas, landmines pose a real problem and create obstacles in agriculture and construction. It was noted that "Finland is involved in Ukraine's development in many ways, supporting energy efficiency improvement and school reform."
Also, Finland expressed strong support for Ukraine to find a solution to the military conflict through the Minsk agreements. During the Ukraine visit, Haavisto made a stop in Stanytsia Luhanska, a settlement in Donbas where disengagement of forces took place on June 26 and efforts are now being made to restore civilian infrastructure.

As a result, the Russian "spiritual culture" took the shape of a familiar European facade, behind which a non-European state infrastructure hid.
