Russia-led forces mounted 12 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past day, no Ukrainian casualties have been reported, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has said

“Armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 12 times on April 15. Weapons banned under the Minsk agreements – 120mm and 82mm mortars – were used four times. There have been no Joint Forces casualties,” it said in a morning update on Facebook on April 16.
Separatists also used grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to attack Ukrainian soldiers.
In the Skhid (East) sector, Russia-led forces mounted 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions, using 120mm and 82mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near the town of Avdiyivka (twice), 120mm mortars near the village of Novoselivka Druha (twice), 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms near the village of Lebedynske (three times). They also used grenade launchers of various systems and small arms near the village of Opytne (twice), anti-tank grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms near the village of Vodiane, and large-caliber machine guns near the village of Nevelske.
In the Pivnich (North) sector, Russia-led forces opened fire from small arms on JFO positions near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.
According to Ukrainian intelligence reports, six separatists were killed and another three were wounded on April 15.
