In 50 episodes based on Ukrainian sayings and proverbs, Folk Wisdom portrays ethnic lifestyle, traditions and mindset.
Directed by Stepan Koval and Volodymyr Zadorozhnyi, the cartoon won the best animated short film award.

Overall, films from over 20 countries took part in the festival supported by Broadway International Film Festival Los Angeles and San Diego International Children’s Film Festival.
According to the festival committee, Universe Multicultural Film Festival had over 6,000 visitors including Ukrainian diaspora in the US.
Another film NTKU presented at the festival was Nezalezhnist. 7300 dniv (Independence. 7,300 Days), a documentary.
